Illegal Mexican Immigrant Deported 20 Times, Arrested Again

On the evening of April 3, 2015, Genaro Cisneros-Delgado, 26, led the Pinal County Sheriffโ€™s Office on a 30-mile, high-speed chase through Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. The illegal Mexican immigrant has reportedly been deported back to Mexico an astounding 20 times for illegally entering the United States.

Cisneros-Delgado was driving on Interstate 10, when a Pinal County Sheriffโ€™s deputy pulled him over for an unidentified traffic violation. He was driving a minivan that had four other individuals inside, when he decided to flee the scene. From there, Cisneros-Delgado led police on a car chase that reached speeds of over 100 miles-per-hour at times. Upon entering Phoenix, he hopped off the highway and weaved through several neighborhoods before crashing the gate of a retirement community and hitting a dead end. All five subjects in the vehicle exited the minivan and tried to escape, but were detained. According to authorities, all of them were illegal immigrants and Cisneros-Delgado had admitted to smuggling them into the U.S. for money.

Cisneros-Delgado is being charged with felony flight and endangerment, and is being held on a $50,000 bail bond. He has confessed to officials that this is the second time he has smuggled illegals into the country.

According to Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, Cisneros-Delgado is just one of many illegal immigrants detained in the area. He said, โ€œEvery year for the past three years, weโ€™ve had 88,000 to 123,000 illegals that have been apprehended just here.โ€
