Melania Trump Attempts to Silence Immigration Rumors

Like all presidential candidates of years passed, Donald Trump is focusing on immigration policy and immigration reform; but unlike most other candidates, his own wife’s immigration status is being brought into question. The potential future first lady will be holding a press conference in the next few weeks to address the allegations. US Immigration Bonds has been watching all immigration news related to the next election, but this story came as quite a surprise.

Immigration policy states that anyone who enters the United States to work has to obtain the appropriate work visa, but Melania’s early model work in the United States has led some to assume that she over-stayed her welcome and did not legally enter the U.S.

The Slovenian born Melania has said that she flew back to her birth country every few months to stamp her passport and obeyed all U.S. laws related to immigration policy.

Melania says that the photos that are being called into question were taken before she arrived. Melania Trump was in the U.S. on a tourist visa, which means that any modeling she may have done would definitely be illegal because it is illegal to work in the U.S. on a tourist visa.

At this time, it is still too early to tell if these allegations come as a smearing campaign from Trump detractors, or if there is any legitimacy to these claims. The press conference has not been scheduled for a definitive date yet, but when it happens, immigration policy will be called into question.Â
