Providers of immigration bonds in Florida know that if you or someone you know has been detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), one of your first and biggest concerns will be getting them released. It is critical to know how to go about getting the individual released from the detention center as quickly as possible. For this exact reason, US Immigration Bonds wants to help prepare you and get you through the process of obtaining an immigration bond, as well as give you information about how to pay a US immigration bond.

Immigration Bond Requirements

First, you need to realize that there are two ways that detained aliens can be determined eligible for an immigration bond and then granted a bond:

  1. The ICE immigration officer determines that the detained alien is eligible and has the authority to set an immigration bond amount. In this instance, you should expect to pay the immigration bond within a week of the initial determination of the bond.
  2. If ICE declines to set a bond, a detainee can request to have an immigration bond hearing to determine if the detainee is eligible before an immigration judge. If the immigration judge decides that the alien is eligible, the bond will be granted and an amount will be set.

Where to Pay Immigration Bond

  • Any person of legal United States status can schedule an appointment with a local immigration bonds office to pay the detainee’s bond as an immigration bond sponsor.
  • Call the local ICE office that is designated to receive immigration bond payments.
  • Let the individual know that you would like to schedule an appointment at your local ICE office to pay a bond.
  • Before you go to pay the immigration bond, it is important to know that immigration bonds cannot be paid in cash or personal check.

Paying the Immigration Bond

  • If you are paying the bond out of pocket, your best option is to get a cashier’s check made out to the “Department of Homeland Security”.
  • You can also call US Immigration Bonds & Insurance Services, who provide nationwide immigration bail bonds in order to have your loved one released from detainment.
  • In order to pay the bond, you will need to have your original social security card plus a valid photo ID.
  • Once the immigration bond is paid, the ICE officer will inform the detention facility that the alien is cleared for release. The entire process takes approximately an hour and you will be able to go to the detention facility to pick up your loved one.
  • Once your loved one is released, the United States immigration bond specialists strongly recommend seeking competent legal aid immediately after their release on the immigration bond.

Note: If the immigration bond sponsor isn’t sure how to pay a US immigration bond because they live far away from the individual’s detainment facility and cannot go into that physical location, they will need to contact the ICE office closest to them and make arrangements to pay the bond through them. The detainee will still be released from the area where they are being detained.

US immigration bonds were absolutely the best they were super professional. When I was down and out when my husband was detained by immigration they were very caring , knowledgeable, and patient. I called them a thousand times and they were very empathic and helpful everytime I called. they reassures me that everything would be fine, and that they would help me my husband, and my children be reunited again. They did everything they could to get me a same day release. They exceeded my expectations. I would not recommend any company other than US immigration bonds. Us immigration bonds, under promises and over fulfills. They were a true blessing ! Thank you so much again.read more

Jeremy Wolf and his agency have been a terrific resource for me as I delve into this foreign world of bonding a friend out of jail so he and his wife can work on his case on the "outside." Jeremy has been unfailingly polite and informative and his video regarding how to complete the necessary forms was a valuable tool too. The entire process was quick and relatively easy. I especially appreciated not having to deal with a jaded, impatient, figure--it-out-yourself kind of person when I was treading in really unfamiliar territory. My questions were always answered quickly and efficiently.I highly recommend this company in your time of need for quick, efficient and professional service with no attitude or delay.read more

Jeremy Wolf, is compassionate and understanding. He has been there and done it with his own family, and together with his wife they dedicate their time and energy into helping other families come together. I know this because my husband was taken by ICE and his bond was set much higher than I could have imagined, having in my hands at any given time. ... With Jeremy, his wife and the rest of the team we were able to piece together the required 80% and set up a affordable and convient payment plan. It was a grueling process, at times I felt like I was going to loose all my hair, as I ran around selling homemade tamales, and had various other fund raisers going on, along with my husband being detained, I lost my home, my dog and my daughter and I pushed forward with the help and support of Jeremy and his team, if It wasn't for there hours of help and dedication, to put a previous bond for my nephew into action to help my husband, we wouldn't have been able to have him home for the Holidays. ... To Jeremy, Veronica, and Amber, who I spoke with often, and the other parts of the team who I was unable to catch their names, I THANK YOU, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!read more
