Aspects of Obama’s Immigration Policy Proposal

In November of 2014, President Obama was quoted “We didn’t raise the Statue of Liberty with her back to the world, we did it with her light shining as a beacon to the world. And whether we were Irish or Italians or Germans crossing the Atlantic, or Japanese or Chinese crossing the Pacific; whether we crossed the Rio Grande or flew here from all over the world- generations of immigrants have made this country into what it is. It’s what makes America special.” The very last thing that we should be doing is detaining immigrants and leaving them in the hands of ICE and immigration bail bonds, when they come here to make a contribution to American society.

Over many years, many people have tried to confront the challenge of immigration, but passions are felt strongly and disagreements run deep. President Obama knows that confronting the immigration issue will not be an easy task, but the American people are demanding and deserve a solution. The solution needs to represent a 21st century immigration system that meets America’s economic and national security imperatives and upholds America’s proud tradition of a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants. US Immigration Bonds demands a better answer for the numerous families who see loved ones suffering and stumbling through ICE detention centers for all the wrong reasons, leaving them in need of an immigration bail bond in order to return to normal life.

President Obama is laying out a sweeping plan to overhaul the nation’s immigration system. The changes will drastically alter the lives of the 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States. Obama reiterates his deep commitment to fixing the broken immigration system.

US Immigration Bonds outlines Obama’s vision for a 21st century immigration policy:

  • Responsibility of the federal government to secure our border: The Obama Administration is continually working to refine and strengthen the borders and strategies. Enforcement resources should be focused on preventing those who would do our nation harm from entering the country, requesting that they be obtained until they receive an immigration bail bond or otherwise face permanent deportation. They are attempting to enhance infrastructure and technology that strengthens the ability to remove criminals and address national security threats.
  • Accountability for businesses that break the law by undermining American workers and exploit undocumented workers: Hold businesses accountable for knowingly hiring undocumented workers over American workers who are qualified and applied for the job. The policy wants to give employers who want to play by the rules a reliable way to verify that their employees are here legally.
  • Strengthen our economic competitiveness by creating a legal immigration system that reflects America’s values and diverse needs: America’s immigration laws should continue to unify families and encourage individuals that are trained in U.S. world class institutions to stay, allowing them to develop new technologies and industries in the United States rather than somewhere else in the world. The laws need to stop punishing innocent young people whose parents brought them here illegally. Give them a chance to stay in America if they serve in the military or pursue a higher education. The system should improve procedures for farmers to hire help legally, as well as employers who seek to hire foreign workers for jobs if U.S. workers are not available or not willing.

Responsibility from people who live in the United States illegally: People who are living in the U.S. illegally must be held accountable for their actions and get on the right side of the law by registering and undergoing national security and criminal background checks. They also need to start paying taxes and a penalty, as well as learn English before they can start the process to become an American citizen. The plan proposes to create a pathway for legal status that is fair and reflects American values rather than that of detainment and forces the need for an immigration bail bond to release them from unjust detainment.

US immigration bonds were absolutely the best they were super professional. When I was down and out when my husband was detained by immigration they were very caring , knowledgeable, and patient. I called them a thousand times and they were very empathic and helpful everytime I called. they reassures me that everything would be fine, and that they would help me my husband, and my children be reunited again. They did everything they could to get me a same day release. They exceeded my expectations. I would not recommend any company other than US immigration bonds. Us immigration bonds, under promises and over fulfills. They were a true blessing ! Thank you so much again.read more

Jeremy Wolf and his agency have been a terrific resource for me as I delve into this foreign world of bonding a friend out of jail so he and his wife can work on his case on the "outside." Jeremy has been unfailingly polite and informative and his video regarding how to complete the necessary forms was a valuable tool too. The entire process was quick and relatively easy. I especially appreciated not having to deal with a jaded, impatient, figure--it-out-yourself kind of person when I was treading in really unfamiliar territory. My questions were always answered quickly and efficiently.I highly recommend this company in your time of need for quick, efficient and professional service with no attitude or delay.read more

Jeremy Wolf, is compassionate and understanding. He has been there and done it with his own family, and together with his wife they dedicate their time and energy into helping other families come together. I know this because my husband was taken by ICE and his bond was set much higher than I could have imagined, having in my hands at any given time. ... With Jeremy, his wife and the rest of the team we were able to piece together the required 80% and set up a affordable and convient payment plan. It was a grueling process, at times I felt like I was going to loose all my hair, as I ran around selling homemade tamales, and had various other fund raisers going on, along with my husband being detained, I lost my home, my dog and my daughter and I pushed forward with the help and support of Jeremy and his team, if It wasn't for there hours of help and dedication, to put a previous bond for my nephew into action to help my husband, we wouldn't have been able to have him home for the Holidays. ... To Jeremy, Veronica, and Amber, who I spoke with often, and the other parts of the team who I was unable to catch their names, I THANK YOU, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!read more
