Immigration bonds are necessary for those who are Green Card holders or undocumented individuals detained by the US Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), awaiting the result of a case. There are a few types of immigration bonds available. An immigration bail bondsmen will issue one of four types of bonds.
Types of Immigration Bonds
These are also referred to as ICE Form I-352 and there are four immigration bond types:
Immigration bonds are available only to those individuals who match the requirements. If the defendant is denied bail, he/she will not be able to get a bail bond. Immigration bonds involve three parties. The defendant, which is the individual who is responsible. The individual who oversees that all fulfillments will be carried out by the defendant. The third-party involved is the immigration bondsman, whom the debt is owed to.
